Sterling silver pair cased verge fusee pocket watch made by the watchmaker Weldon of London.

With an exquisite repoussé outer case, the painting's scene has been preserved beautifully, the inner case is clearly hallmarked for the city London, letter g which stands for the year 1762.

The movement has a gorgeous hand painted dial with gold hands, winds smoothly and runs with a great motion in all positions, keeps reasonable time for a more than 260 year old verge watch.
