Juvet Fleurier Chinese Duplex

A very rare silver engraved duplex pocket watch made by the Swiss watchmaker Edouard Juvet in approximately 1850. 

Edouard Juvet was first established in Buttes in 1842, but in 1844 he moved his workshop to Fleurier. He began making "Chinese" watches designed specifically for the Chinese market.

This watch is in an outstanding condition, the case is really gorgeous, a one of a kind masterpiece. Running perfectly in all positions, a very good timekeeper. The original key is present and will come with this watch.
