A really gorgeous heavy 14K solid gold box hinge size 18S hunter case pocket watch made by the Illinois watch company Springfield USA.

Fully cleaned and serviced, the watch case has a 14K Eagle hallmark, this is an early production hallmark from the Brooklyn Watch Case Company. We tested the case on all parts positive for 14K solid gold.

Serial number 776399, year of production 1887.
