Duchene et Fills Geneve ¼ repeater

Silver verge fusee Quarter repeater pocket watch made by Louis Duchene & Fils Geneva in early 1800. The company was established around 1750 by Louis Duchene in Geneva as Louis Duchêne Co. Between 1791 and 1820, the manufacturer signed its watches as Louis Duchene & Fils.

The movement is recently fully serviced winds smoothly and runs with a great motion in all positions the whole chain down, keeps very good time, the repeating function works flawless with a loud and clear sound.

The movement and the dust cover are both signed: “Ls Duchene & Fills” with the serial number 69592.
